In order to complete your registration:
- Fill on the online medical form.
Please also let us know about any serious medical, psychological or drug dependency problems you may suffer from.
- Send us a simple motivation letter (email) explaining the reasons why you want to attend the retreat and previous experiences on your “personal quest” (mystical experiences, participation in religious groups, meditation or other techniques, use of psychoactive substances).
After reading your motivation letter and your medical form, Ayahuasca-Wasi will send you an email to confirm your participation or ask you for more information if necessary.
- Buy your flight tickets -to Lima and Cusco airport- and send us both flights information (date of arrival, time, flight number and airline).
Once we receive your flight information you are registered and have a place in the retreat you have chosen.

About your flight tickets
For your booking please consider that the retreat will start around noon on the first day published and end on the morning of the last day published.
To buy your local flight tickets Lima – Cusco (60 min flight,) you can choose either:
- Lan Peru (lan.com)
- Taca airlines (www.taca.com)
- Star Peru (www.starperu.com)
- Peruvian Airlines (www.peruvian.pe)
All commercial airlines with on line service. The average cost of a round trip ticket Lima-Cusco-Lima is ± 120 to 190 US$ (depending on the season). There are no evening flights to Cusco.
You can arrive at Cusco airport at any time on the first day of the retreat. We will pick you up from the airport at the time your flight arrives and escort you to Melissa Wasi in Pisaq. The ride is 45 minutes from Cusco city to where the retreat will take place. Likewise, you can leave any time on the last day published. We will provide transportation to the airport.
If you are already in Cusco city, we will pick you up from your hotel on the first day of the retreat, so please send us the hostel address and phone information when you arrive, for us to to be in contact.

FAQ
When shall I arrive?
Any time on the day the retreat starts but better in the morning, so you can rest. We start at noon. We will pick you up from the airport or your hotel if you are already in Cusco.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes and shoes, personal water container if possible, small flashlight (optional), yoga mat (optional). There is no need to bring sleeping bags or blankets.
How is the weather like?
We have two main seasons: rainy season starting December-March and dry season from March – November. Any ways the weather is very unpredictable so it is always useful to have a rain jacket.
Can I stay few days before or after the retreat?
Yes, you can stay longer than the retreat but please arrange your accommodation directly with Melissa Wasi if you want to stay here. You can contact at chitop1@yahoo.es

I have a special diet, can I still come?
Yes, just let us know in advance your dietary restrictions and we will help you.
I take medication, is this ok with the ceremonies?
Some kind of medication is not a problem and others are (like antidepressant medication). So just tell us about your medication and we will help you.
How far is MachuPicchu from there and how to get there from the retreat center?
The shortest way to Machu Picchu from here is going through the town of Ollantaytambo. You get there by taxi (around 35 US$) and take the train (if you buy your tickets on the internet, choose the option “Sacred Valley-MachuPicchu”) that will take you to MP.
From Pisaq to Ollantaytambo is an hour and a half ride (taxi) and from Ollantaytambo to MP is 3hours (train)

I have never been at that high altitude. How likely is it to get altitude sickness?
Pisaq (2,850m) is a bit lower than Cusco (3,400m) and it is not likely to get altitude sickness. if it happens it is usually mild and can be easily treated with some rest and coca tea which will be offered upon arrival.
Do you have private accommodation options?
The retreat is in double occupancy but you can ask for availability on private rooming. This will depend on the number of participants and availability with an extra cost for the week.
Can I do more ceremonies than the ones offered in the retreat?
Yes. If you have chosen to stay longer before or after the retreat, you can join the open ceremonies that are offered usually on Fridays and Mondays. The dates are posted in the web site and the information in this link Upcoming Ayahuasca ceremonies.
